Bari – A Few Hours And Lots Of Fun

“Right before you die, you’ll realize this whole life was about loving people.  And you watched too much television.” – Donald Miller

After I left Athens, I headed to the coast and took a ferry to Bari, Italy.  I met an interesting guy from Canada on the ride over.

I arrived there and had about 10 hours before the bus headed out towards Sicily.  After a lunch at the local Burger King, I checked my bag at the train station and grabbed my camera to photograph the town.

Bari is a delightful town. I got my first taste of small Italian side streets and great gelato.  I also took the time to check out the church where St. Nicholas’s bones are buried.  Yes, the St. Nicholas who later became Santa Claus.

Here are some photos from my day in Bari.
